Roger Goodes, CPP - Owner

Roger has over 40 years experience in federal and local law enforcement, corporate security, and security consulting. During his 26 years with the United States Secret Service, he provided security at the highest levels, including nearly seven years assigned to the Presidential Protective Division. Roger's last 9 years with the Secret Service were as Special Agent in Charge of the Indianapolis Field Office. After his public service, he then served six years as Director of Security Services for Anthem, Inc.,  a Fortune 50 company with 60,000+ employees and 100+ locations nationwide. Combining these experiences with the knowledge he gained during his 3 years as a senior security consultant with Hillard Heintze, a leading security risk management firm, and working with companies in most industries and of all sizes, he possesses a unique blend of experiences that is rare in the security industry and valuable to his clients. Roger refined his holistic approach to develop security strategies for each company based on their specific circumstances and needs, while being sensitive to minimize the impact to a company's operations and productivity. His broad experience working with a variety of clients allows him to identify and implement security best practices as part of an overall security plan. Roger enjoys the challenge and art of developing a security strategy that is appropriate for a company and effectively protects their people, property, assets, and reputation.

Roger is board certified in security management and has attained the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification from ASIS International, which is considered the gold standard for security management professionals.

Marina Rhodes - Director of Operations

Marina has a diverse background that includes work in environmental science and healthcare. She has conducted environmental fieldwork, has worked in the ICU of a large hospital, and was the office coordinator for a private medical practice. Marina is a fast learner and joined Goodes Security to provide improved support to our team and clients. She has outstanding organizational skills and oversees project contracts, statements of work, scheduling, invoicing, and company finances. She is in charge of communications for our company and provides an important quality control aspect to our process that ensures all reports and other communications are reviewed and edited from a client perspective. Marina has taken the lead for our Residential and Household Management offerings and works with clients to ensure their physical assets are properly inventoried, serviced, and protected. Marina has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Bellarmine University, is married, and is the mother of an 18-month old daughter and two handsome dogs.
